09 Aug Ashley Kilvington Takes on Boxing Champion in Exciting International Debut

Ashley Kilvington is an MMA (Mixed martial arts) competitor and boxer that Kiwi sponsors to focus full time on the sport. Our Manging Director Brendon Cook describes Ashley as a ‘local up and coming fighter with staring promise’. Kiwi has sponsored the budding fighter since March of 2018.

Having competed and conquered the UK, Ashley now has an international boxing fight Saturday the 10th of August. The fight, hosted by Chavez Boxing Promotions, will take place in Malta.

Ashley will bravely take on a Maltese Champion – Little Chaves, AKA Joshua Muscat. Muscat will be fighting in his home crowd, providing Ashley with a fierce competitor.

The fight will undoubtedly prepare the promising fighter for future international experiences. The proud father of 1 will be without his supporters, competing very far from home for the first time. Whilst intimidating, competing without his supporters close by will give him experience of what is to come in his thrilling, country-hopping career. Ashley fearlessly said he is excited to enter into ‘hostile territory’, as he challenges a local competitor on foreign grounds.

The young fighter is set to see an exciting year for his boxing and MMA career. Kiwi Recruitment are privileged to be part of Ashley’s journey, and will continue to provide updates through their website and social media.
