I started Kiwi in November 2014, having been a Recruitment Consultant locally I was encouraged by a senior colleague to create an agency that fulfilled the needs the evolving Industry required. For me, this meant creating a service that would focus on quality over quantity. Making placements with clients based on the individual business need and not forcing unrealistic KPI’s on the team to ensure proper consideration for the client’s needs is a priority and not another box to tick.


I would say my specialism at Kiwi is bringing people together, whether that is providing the Kiwi team with a nice cold gin on a Friday afternoon or connecting with local businesses at networking events, I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people. New employees, candidates, clients and local businesses. Anything is achievable when we all work together.


The most notable achievement of my career was having a highly reputable, nationwide Supermarket approach Kiwi directly to provide staffing solutions. This was a proud moment for me and we continue to regularly receive enquiries as a result of our reputation for quality. An accolade to the Kiwi Team and their continual efforts to strive for greatness, every day.


In 2018, my aspiration is to continue growth into new sectors whilst maintaining Kiwi’s wonderful reputation as the ‘go to’ agency for all recruitment needs.


On the wall next to my desk is a poster of my dream project. If time and money were no object I would create the ‘Christmas Adventures’ experience, delivering the most magical festive experience to all those who attend, leaving a lasting impression of unique memories.
