Festival Of Speed 2018

Here at Kiwi Recruitment it’s our busiest time of year again and with that brings the excitement of the Festival of Speed, once more.

This year, Goodwood Festival of Speed is celebrating 25 years since the Duke of Richmond threw open the gates to his humble pad in the Sussex countryside. The event has gone from zero to global extravaganza in no time at all. It all began in 1993, when the Goodwood Festival of Speed was held on a single day. The British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) told the team to expect 5,000 people to attend the inaugural day, but the appetite for an event of this kind, around five times that number actually turned up.

This year Porsche – which is celebrating its 70th birthday – has been named as the marquee sponsor.

The central feature erected in front of Goodwood House honours the German manufacturer. Standing at 52m-high it will be visible across the whole estate. Six iconic road and race cars, bookending Porsche’s 70-year history, are mounted on branches sprouting from the structure’s central pillar.

Alongside all the motoring cars, we also love to see the Red Arrows in a new formation routine, the precision and skill is breathtaking ever year

Here at Kiwi, Sharon, Jenny and Sam spent time visiting the festival of speed, Liaising with the 150 clients and candidates we have had the pleasure of working with this year, and going that extra mile ( that you get with Kiwi Recruitment ) attending to their requirements as they arose.

A big thank you to all our clients and candidates.
