The Government has announced that the National living wage will increase from April 2023.

The announcements in yesterday’s Autumn Statement will help low-paid workers maintain their living standards and income when many are under strain due to the cost of living crisis.

These have been recommended against the backdrop of a tight labour market where unemployment is at record lows and vacancies remain high as businesses compete to recruit and retain staff.
