All About Kiwi Recruitment

All About Kiwi Recruitment

Whether you’re a candidate or an employer, choosing a recruitment agency is a key decision, so we wanted to take a step back and explain who we are and what we do.  We are really proud of our success but realise that not everyone will be aware of how we started or what our values are.

How it all started

Kiwi Recruitment was founded in 2015 and has grown into one of the busiest recruitment agencies in the south, winning multiple business awards along the way.  It is now firmly established at its base in South Street, Chichester, and covers Hampshire, Sussex and other neighbouring counties.

Kiwi Recruitment was founded in 2015 and has grown into one of the most active recruitment agencies in the south and very famous for online casino players. Kiwi Recruitment owner Brandon Cook is Italian and prides himself on Kiwi’s fresh and friendly approach to business, making it possible to claim an bonus immediato senza documenti at an online casino. In addition, Brandon Cook started his career as a chef working in Italy, and then moved to the UK and accidentally got a job, but earned money playing online casinos.

Owner Brendon Cook is a New Zealander and prides himself on Kiwi’s fresh and friendly approach to business. Brendon says “We really make the effort to get to know clients and candidates, which helps when matching them to the perfect role”.  He started life as a chef, working in Canada as well as his native New Zealand, before moving to the UK and getting into recruitment by accident.  When he was being interviewed for a different role he was told he’d be ideal as a recruiter, so switched career!  After working in a local recruitment firm and realising how much he loved the industry he started his own business and hasn’t looked back since.

Kiwi won ‘Team Of The Year’ at the Observer Business Awards in 2018 and 2019, as well as ‘Start-Up Of The Year’ in 2016.

The Kiwi team

Brendon is joined by a dynamic team of recruitment consultants, including Branch Manager Jenny Oliva who has vast experience in various sectors.  Jenny has run large accounts for many years and now specialises in permanent recruitment with an abundance of knowledge across West Sussex and Hampshire.  She is always available to offer consultative advice to clients as well as finding the perfect candidate for a role.

Kiwi have specialists who cover many different sectors including manufacturing, construction, administration, customer services, catering and hospitality, horticulture and technical support.

Client testimonials

We get great feedback from clients too.  Here are some of the fantastic reviews we have received :

“It really is a pleasure working with Kiwi, at times they have delivered what seems to be the impossible while always working around our budgets.  Fantastic team and never too busy to help!  I would recommend them.”  Brittain Marketing

“Their staff are consistent and reliable, and using Kiwi Recruitment has taken a great deal of pressure off us and I have no problem recommending their service.”  Plush Tents

“Brendon and his team have continually exceeded my expectations, they will always go the extra mile at the last minute and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble.”  Goodwood

Our charity work

Kiwi Recruitment are passionate about giving back to the community too, supporting many local charities.  Brendon took part in the Big Sleep Out, raising much-needed funds for Stonepillow by sleeping under a cardboard ‘tent’ during a stormy night last year.

He was due to hike to the Everest Base Camp later in 2020 to raise money for the Australian wildfire victims but that challenge has sadly been postponed.

Another local charity which regularly receives sponsorship from Kiwi is the Pink Pub group of cyclists from Bognor.  They plan increasingly ambitious rides each year, with last year’s event involving a trip to Pegasus Bridge in Normandy, France, in aid of the veterans’ charity All Call Signs.  The riders were dressed in Home Guard uniforms and all rode vintage bicycles, raising over £120,000 in total.

Looking ahead

Things haven’t been easy for any business in recent times, but Brendon is positive that Kiwi have a bright future and are continuing to serve their clients successfully through lockdown.

“We thrive on building good, solid relationships with clients, with a professional and positive approach.  We provide a consistently high level of customer service across all our sectors which is appreciated by clients and candidates alike.  We won’t put a candidate forward for a role unless we are confident it would be a good skill match for them and a suitable working environment.”

The coronavirus pandemic has certainly shaken up the economy with every business affected in some way, including some of the Kiwi clients who have sadly had to close their doors until restrictions are eased.  Brendon says “We have seen new businesses springing up, adapting to demand, creating opportunities in new ways.  If your business has pivoted and needs extra staff then we are here to help.”
