Kiwi Recruitment agency in Chichester has been looking at the industry trends for the UK. We are now halfway through the year, and it is time to have a look at what industries have been growing over the past 6 months.
In these 6 months, a lot has happened to UK’s economy, Brexit being one of the biggest factor. Despite the announcement of Brexit, our economy has continued to grow, particularly in the following Industries:
IT & Technology
The technology industry is always rapidly changing and growing due to the high demands from all over the world. As technology gets better and better over the years, it can cause growth for many companies, meaning that more and more jobs will be created within the IT market.
Engineering in the UK has been boosting more than ever, with it’s demand being bigger than the supply. The skills gap is quite big due to the certain qualifications that they need in the industry. The engineering sector are in need of more degree qualified workers in order to meet their work load.
This sector in particular has been rising since 2016, with many projects taking place, there has been an increase in the demand for workers. Construction is one of the industries that will be affected by Brexit, due to most of construction workers being from the EU.
